Google is all set to give competition to the Apple iPhone, with the launch of its G1 mobile. The G1 phone has an amalgamation of some very high-tech features, which can make computers a thing of the past. The mobile runs on Android, an operating system that is designed in such a way that it brings the computing experience to the palm of a person. The mobile phone would allow the consumers to surf the net and carry out everyday tasks through their handset only. The touch phone also gives access to popular Google online services, like its email service - Gmail, the video-sharing website - YouTube, instant-messaging via Google Talk and even its maps service - Google Maps.
