Of course there was a little teasing but no hard feelings Lopushanskiy said. Everybody was just happy I was back. Cardinal Gibbons school is really good so I thought it would be a good year to switch he said. But by the end of the year Lopushanskiy was starting to rethink his decision to leave South Broward. Over the summer I made up my mind that I needed to go back Lopushanskiy said. I m not really sure why I decided. He added that the strain of going to a school far from his home added to his decision. Gibbons was far away and it was wearing me out he said. I wasn t getting sleep and I decided to come back. That decision was welcomed by Bulldogs coach Allen Held. He just kind of showed back up Held said. I thought it would be good for our team. I knew he would just br! ing our team to a higher level. Lopushanskiy joined a team that featured regional champion A. Held who also spent a brief time at Cardinal Gibbons. Held spent two months at Gibbons before rejoining the Bulldogs last year. He said that having a wrestler who can compete on the same level will help both of them grow. I was kind of excited having somebody to work with A. and me benefit each other. We train together and we set examples for the rest of the team to follow he said. Other kids look at us and follow our steps. Hopefully they will look at us to see what how an experienced wrestler should be.
