In this case the fetus will be developed. Premenstrual Phase This is the last phase in menstrual cycle. Again if the egg is not fertilized the thickened layer will be shed. The cycle is completed and it will go back to the first phase. The menstrual cycle is different from one woman to another. Even for the same woman it may be different for every month. A period will normally last for to days. However a period beyond this range does not necessarily mean abnormal. A period between to days can still consider normal. The menstrual cycles will stop At about the age of women may stop having the periods. These is known as menopause. After menopause a woman will no long ovulating. This implies that she will no long be pregnant. Of course some woman may have menopause earlier while some may have it later. And just like the periods this variations can still be considered normal.
